On November 17, Thursday Network hosted its second Black Business Expo in Washington, D.C.

The center piece of Thursday Network’s 2018 National Day of Empowerment efforts was our Black Business Expo which took place on November 17. This year’s event which took place in Northeast D.C. featured 22 black-owned businesses in industries ranging from skincare to fashion to fitness and more. Nearly 100 potential customers were in attendance.

The primary focus of this event was to increase the number of times the black dollar circulated within our community so that we create more opportunities for the success of black entrepreneurs.
